Lhasa Everest base camp tour offers many exciting memorable encounter along the way that you can’t express or explain unless you are a part of it. Our Tibet trip begins with an amazing Trans-Himalayan flight to the sacred land of Lhasa over the spectacular peaks of Kanchenjunga (8536m) and the Mt. Everest. We have three nights in Lhasa for proper acclimatization.

Traversing through the high passes and rugged terrain and an incredible formation of the highest plateau of the world, fascinates you. It is awesome to view beautiful rocks cascades and canyons slightly hidden in the thin flying mists of the mighty presence of the Mt. Shisapangma (8212m) on our overland drive back to Nepal board to end the exhilarating Tibet tour to Lhasa Everest base camp.

Outline itinerary:
Day 01: Enjoy the most spectacular flight in the world to Lhasa, 3660m, with view of Panoramic Himalayan range.
Day 02: Evening stroll around the Barkhor bazaar.
Day 03: Visit the two most renowned monasteries of Lhasa: Drepung and Sera.
Day 04: Visit the world famous Potala Palace and go through the Jokhong Temple.
Day 05: Beggins your overland adventure with a full day drive to Gyantse. Along the way you cross the Khamba La Pass 4794 m and the Kara La Pass 5010 m, both grant spectacular views. After the Khamba La, go to Yamdrok Tso, also known as the Panchem Lama.
Day 06: In the morning visit Khumvum stupa and monastery. After 2 hours drive see the giant Budha in the famous Tashilunpo monastery, seat of the Panchen Lama.
Day 07: Visit Sakya monastery. Spending the night in the Tibetan truck stop town of Lhatse.
Day 08: Begins with the Tsho La 4500 m and ends with the spectacular view of Mt. Everest from Rombuk monastery 5000 m.
Day 09: Early in the morning, start the 2-3 hrs leisurely walk to the base camp (5200 m) itself. Then return early afternoon to head to Lao Tingri.
Day 10: Cross the Lalung La Pass 5050m on the way to the border town of Zhangmu and visit Pelgyeling monastery where Milarepa’s cave is situated.
Day 11: Hiking to Kalapattar 5545m and trek down to Pheriche 4210 m
Day 12: Trek Pheriche to Tengboche 3860 m 5-6 hours
Day 13: Trek Tengboche to Namche 3440 m 5-6 hours
Day 14: Trek Namche to Lukla 6-7 hours
Day 15: Fly back to Kathmandu
Day 16: Leisure day in Kathmandu
Day 17: Farewell and final departure to your onward destination
