Bhutan Durk Path is One of the most Scenic and popular treks. Which is relatively a short trek, it treks you to the altutude of 4210m, making it moderately strenuous. The trek pass, the few remote lakes, the variety of rhododendron and growth forest and get beautiful views of high mountains and valleys below. Average hiking time per day will be about 6-7 hours. The route begins in Paro and ends in Thimphu, at its highest point it crosses an altitude of 3800m.

The best season would be in spring when you can see many varieties of flowers and views of the mountains. However fall also is a good time.

Outline itinerary:
Day 01: Arrive at Paro and transfer to hotel
Day 02: Paro excursion to Tiger’s Nest
Day 03: Trek Paro to Jele Dzong 3350 m, 3-4 hours walk
Day 04: Trek Jele Dzong to Jangchulakha 3700 m, 4-5 hours walk
Day 05: Trek Jangchulakha to Jimilangtso 3800 m, 6-7 hours walk
Day 06: Trek Jimilangtso to Simkota, 4-5 hours walk
Day 07: Trek Simkota to Phajoding
Day 08: Trek Phajoding to Thimphu
Day 09: Transfer to the airport for final departure
